Puerto Madero

Puerto Madero Neighborhood - Buenos Aires

This is one of the most touristic neighborhoods in the Argentine city of Buenos Aires today. Its history begins at the end of the 19th century with the need to create a port that communicated Buenos Aires with Europe, given the expansion of agriculture. Engineer Eduardo Madero, who presented the winning project, is the person to whom this neighborhood owes its name. It is located in the eastern part of the city, its gastronomic area, its urban beauty and its view of the river, make it one of the most valued in the city.
